rebeca cortazar goicoechea

Rebeca Cortázar holds an integrated MEng degree and a PhD in Computing from the University of Deusto. She is currently an associate professor at the Department of Computing, Electronics and Communication Technologies, teaching at the Bilbao campus.She teaches several courses on Computing Engineering. Specifically, she teaches bachelor-level courses on “Software Requirements” and “Software Design” (in English). Likewise, she teaches ‘Information Systems’ in the diploma ‘Management in Digital Environments’ at DBS. She has participated in several research projects about Software Quality Assurance and she is experienced in international projects related to Higher Education (EU Tempus, Atlantis and Erasmus programmes). Her research and educational interest include Software Development Processes and Education in the Software Engineering field. Her publications are mainly focused on those areas, and she usually collaborates as programme committee member for several international conferences.
