james ralph wilson

James Wilson is Research Director at Orkestra-Basque Institute of Competitiveness and teaching faculty at the University of Deusto. He has over 25 years of university teaching experience in the UK, South Africa, Spain and Canada, where he has taught courses in economics, business management and public policy at undergraduate, postgraduate masters, executive and doctoral levels. He currently teaches an undergraduate module on Competitive Territories in a Global Economy at Deusto Business School. He also supervises several doctoral students and teaches sessions related to territorial competitiveness, clusters and globalisation on various executive and policy programmes. His main areas of research are the analysis of regional competitiveness, socio-economic development and related public policies.
