veronica canivell castillo

Verónica Canivell Castillo holds a BSc in Computer Science and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Deusto. She is a lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Bilbao campus. Verónica Canivell Castillo teaches BSc courses in Computer Engineering and Industrial Technology Engineering. Specifically, she teaches Databases I, Databases II, Knowledge Management and Software Engineering. Her publications and projects mainly focus on Software Engineering, Databases and Intelligent Corporate Security. She has taken part in different thematic research networks in a national level, of which 3 were related to security (RETISBD, RETISI and RETISTIC) and other 3 were related to data management (National Network of Excellence in Databases and Network of Excellence in Data Management). All of them were funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. Verónica Canivell has made contributions to several conferences and journals, both national and international.
