Carlota Las-Hayas holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Deusto (Bizkaia) and a Master in Applied Positive Psychology (UJI). She works as a researcher in the Department of Medicine of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Deusto (Bizkaia). As a lecturer she teaches courses in the International Virtual Campus, in the Department of Medicine and in the Department of Psychology. With regard to her research and management activity, she is responsible for promoting research in the Department of Medicine. Her scientific publications deal with her areas of expertise: resilience, psychometrics, measurement questionnaires, health outcomes, health services, quality of life, mental disorders, mental well-being and prevention and promotion of mental health. She has been accredited by the Department of Health of the Basque Government as a health centre psychologist, and is also accredited by the National Commission for Professional Accreditation as an Expert in Educational Psychology, her membership number being BI04294.
