Aitziber is PhD in Management ( IESE Business School , University of Navarra) and a researcher at the Strategy Department of Orkestra (Basque Institute of Competitiveness (Deusto Foundation). En her research activity, since 2007 she works as a Researcher in Orkestra. She participates there in different research projects. Her areas of interest are International strategy, Clusters and global value chains. She participates regularly in the most important conferences in her areas of expertise and serve as a reviewer in various international conferences. She has participated in the publication of various books and scientific articles in international journals. In her teaching activities, she was assistant professor at the University of the Basque Country, where she taught different subjects related to business administration, both in undergraduate and graduate courses. She has also given lectures at the Microeconomics of Competitiveness (MOC) and Program for Leadership Development (PLD) courses, taught at Orkestra and Deusto Business School (DBS), respectively.
