BA in Law with a specialism in Economics, University of Deusto (1986), and graduated with honours. He is Managing Partner for the business area at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo Abogados office in Bilbao. He became a notary through competitive examination and he joined the above law firm in 1995, where he works as legal advisor on civil, commercial and procedural matters. He is a qualified arbitrator and mediator of the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce. He was a lecturer at the Institute of European Studies of the University of Deusto from 1998 to 2001 and has taught modules related to Company law (structural modifications and liability of directors) on the Master’s in Business Law since 2006.
