Alberto de la Calle holds a PhD in Business Administration and BSc in Industrial Management Engineering (all from the University of Deusto). He is currently Lecturer at the University of Deusto, where he teaches at the Bilbao campus.Alberto de la Calle teaches BSc and MSc courses on Operational Research (Quantitative methods and Optimization and Simulation), Statistics and Business Strategy. He also manages a laboratory with a flexible manufacturing cell for the BSc in Industrial Management Engineering.His publications mainly focus on supply chain management, innovation, networking and sustainable competitiveness. He also publishes different papers in urban freight distribution.
