Maria Carrasco is Ph.D., professor and researcher of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Deusto. Her teaching activity is concentrated in the Psychology Degree where she currently teaches subjects related to the Methodology of Behavioral Sciences II. She also teaches the Master's Degree in Gerontology where she teaches the modules of New Challenges in Aging Research, Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle Habits and Self-management of Health and also teaches in the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology. She directs Master's Thesis and tutors internships in both postgraduate programs. Her research activity is focused on the topic of Health and quality of life in the elderly, as well as wellbeing in organizations. Her latest projects and publications study the overload and health of family caregivers of dependent elderly; the engagement of older workers and its impact on health; the social participation of older people. She is a researcher of the Evaluation, Clinical and Health team.
