Xabier Angulo Vinuesa is Doctor of Electronics from the University of Alcalá. He is currently Doctor in Charge in the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, teaching in the Computation and Smart Systems Master’s Degree. In addition, he works as Advanced Sensorics Engineer in the Industry 4.0 Department of Gestamp. From 2010 to 2016 he has worked on the development of Fiber Optic sensor systems for the measurement of long distances with high resolution and sensitivity, forming part of a mixed research group between the University of Alcalá and the CSIC. Between 2016 and 2017 he has focused on the industrialization of Holograms to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic cells. From 2017 to 2022 he has dedicated himself to the digitization of industrial welding processes through the application of Vision technologies with smart image processing (Deep-Learning). Currently, he is responsible for Advanced Sensors in Gestamp's Industry 4.0 department, providing service worldwide in the connection and data-retrieval from the different production processes.
