Begoña, graduated in Industrial Technologies Engineering from the University of Deusto (2017) and Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering (2019) and in Industrial Organisation (2019). She developed the first 3 years of her professional career in the consulting area participating in projects of analysis and improvement of purchasing processes and suppliers in order to optimise the procurement process, as well as projects in other areas such as feasibility studies of product diversification, development of tools for the management of information and projects or advisory projects for European funds. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis in the Deusto Sustainable Research Group team on the study of new waste-to-energy processes. Begoña combines her research work with teaching at the University of Deusto, giving classes in the Master's Degree in Industrial Organisation in the subject Procurement and Supply Chain, where she deals with aspects related to the establishment of purchasing strategies and criteria as well as the optimisation of procurement processes and their costs.
