Medical specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health and Master in Public Health from the University of Leuven (Belgium). In 1991 I began my work activity as a professor of Epidemiology in Madrid at the University Center for Public Health, a center attached to the Autonomous University. In 1994 I joined the Clinical Epidemiology Unit of the Donostia Hospital and since 2011 I have been in charge of the Methodological Support Unit of the Biodonostia Institute. My research experience includes several research projects, mainly in the area of oncology, from which various publications have been generated in journals with impact.
