Pando-Canteli is associate professor in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Deusto, Bilbao (Spain) where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Gender Studies, English Literature, and European and Cultural Studies. She also taught at the University of the Basque Country, and at Santa Clara University (USA). She has been a postdoctoral Fulbright fellow at Stanford University, Department of English, (2008-2009), and at the Folger Shakespeare Library, USA (2007). She has published on Literature and Gender in the Early-Modern period and on Women and the Media. Her last publications include an article on the internationalisation of higher education institutions (Hans de Wit, [ed], Brill: Amsterdam, 2018), on ETA female members: Activism and transgression (co-authored with Pilar Rodriguez, Arbor, 2020), on women, migration and the media (co-authored with Pilar Rodriguez, Dykinson, 2016) and on early-modern women writing (Routledge, edited by Alison Weber, 2016). She is also actively participating in the H-2020 project GEARING-Roles: Gender Equality Actions in Research Institutions to transform Gender Roles, 2018-2022, funded by the European Commission.
