Degree in Pharmacy (2010) and Master´s Degree in Pharmacology: Development, Evaluation and Rational Use of Medicines (2012) at the University of the Basque Country. In 2017 she obtained her International PhD in Pharmacology, at the University of the Basque Country, with the study of the effects of new ryanodine stabilizers in animal and human models of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. As a result of her research activity, she has published several scientific articles, is co-inventor of a patent and co-founder of the biotechnology company Miramoon Pharma. At the same time, she has extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry where she specialized in the development and certification of new pharmaceutical products. Since 2020 she is a professor at the University of Deusto, where she teaches subjects in the area of pharmacology and research methodology in the degrees of Physiotherapy and Nursing. She is also member of Deusto Physical TherapIker research group.
