Maialen Araolaza Arrieta, has a doctorate in biomedical research from the University of the Basque Country (2020). Diploma and Degree in Physiotherapy from the Ramon Llul University (2000 and 2010), and Master of Telemedicine at the Open University of Catalonia (2013), she defended her doctoral thesis on differences in functional performance in healthy older women and currently collaborates with different lines research in the TherapIker team at the University of Deusto. She has been teaching the Physiotherapy Degree for fifteen years, first at the International University of Catalonia, then at the University of the Basque Country and currently at the University of Deusto. He has 18 years of experience as a physiotherapist in private clinics and high-performance sports, especially in health treatment and prevention through the active approach and prescription of therapeutic exercise. Tutoring hours: Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 12h a.m.
