Elena Ochoa holds a PhD in Economic and Business Science from the University of Deusto. She is currently Senior Lecturer at the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Deusto Business School at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Donostia-San Sebastián campus. The subjects she teaches focus mainly on Financial Accounting on different BA and MA programmes at the Faculty on the Donostia-San Sebastián campus. She also teaches other subjects within the area of Accounting. Her research work mainly focuses on the following: Relevant Accounting Information for Decision-making Purposes within her Faculty, together with Nagore Aranguren and Jon Ochoa – a line of research that has tended to focus on themes related to Company Reporting and Corporate Social Responsibility. She has also been performing managerial duties within the Faculty at the San Sebastián campus in her capacity as Director of International Relations. She is currently Vice-dean of International Relations at the Deusto Business School.
