paula.fernandez.gago@deusto.esPaula Fernández Gago holds a Technical Engineering degree in Industrial Design from the Universidade da Coruña, an Engineering degree in Industrial Organization from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and a PhD in Design from the Universidad de Deusto. She currently works as Teaching and Research Staff at the University of Deusto and serves as the Academic Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering. She is also a member of the Deusto Design Research Group. Paula teaches courses in the Industrial Design Engineering program, focusing on subjects related to design and her field of research (Project Culture I, Methodology and Creativity, Strategic Design, etc.). Her research focuses on highlighting the value of design in business organizations and its connection to innovation, areas in which she has published various scientific contributions in journals, books and conferences. Prior to her teaching and research activities, she developed her professional career in several companies linked to the railway sector, where she worked on project management, quality assurance, and supply chain management.
