Alejandro received his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of The Basque Country in 2010. He then joined one of the leading Service Companies in the Basque Country. In 2012 he decided to change his career path and started a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering together with an Master´s degree in Industrial Engineering. His PhD studied the influence of the geometrical changes on the fluid flow due to erosion processes. He is a member of Ghadiri Research Group at Leeds University where he has been working on modelling the Vertical Roller Mill developed by IIT with CFD and DEM, Flowability of cohesive powders in Advanced Digital Design of Pharmaceutical Therapeutics (ADDoPT) project. He is a Visiting Scholar at Leeds University and at the University of Strathclyde.
