Professor of Philosophy and senior researcher at the Pedro Arrupe Human Rights Institute of the University of Deusto. She teaches Ancient Philosophy, Moral Philosophy and Research Ethics. Her main field of research is political philosophy with an emphasis on issues related to critical theories. He has participated in numerous research projects on the role of different social actors, mainly companies, universities and social organisations in contexts of social vulnerability, in particular in relation to the protection of human rights. He has been a visiting scholar at numerous European and American universities. He has written and edited 15 books and more than a hundred articles and book chapters on political philosophy and applied ethics. She is currently working on the Epistemology of Human Rights. Director of the Doctoral School of the University of Deusto, she is also member of the Research Ethics Committee.
