GLORIA ZABALLA PÉREZ holds a Bachelor’s and a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Deusto. She is currently professor at the University of Deusto in Bilbao. She teaches in the Master’s programme in Innovation and Competence Development in Higher Education (official Spanish diploma). She specifically teaches the following subject: Management of Academic Processes. Her published work mainly focuses on quality management in schools, management of academic processes, sustainability of continuous improvement and quality in services companies. Author of the book: Modelo de calidad en educación, Goien. She is a member of the INNOVA research team. Other positions and merits: • Quality manager at the University of Deusto. • ANECA evaluator for the following: the teaching improvement programme DOCENTIA and process management AUDIT. • Evaluator of AVAP (Valencia quality agency for the university system) and the Castile and Leon quality agency for the university system in their VERIFICACIÓN AND DOCENTIA programmes. • Euskalit evaluator of the EFQM model. • Reviewer with the Revista Iberoamericana de Tecnologias de aprendizaje.
