Carmela Peñalba-Aguirrezabalaga holds a PhD in Business and Territorial Competitiveness, Innovation, and Sustainability cum laude from the University of Deusto (Spain) and a PhD in Business and Management cum laude from Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland). She currently works as an assistant professor in the Marketing department of the Deusto Business School faculty of the University of Deusto (San Sebastián). She has taught subjects on fundamentas of marketing and digital marketing since 2020, both at undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, she has been invited as a professor to teach digital marketing and servitization seminars to postgraduate students at Kedge Business School.
