-Marta González holds a BA in Psychology (1981-86) and a PhD (1992) from the Pontifical University of Salamanca (UPSA). She completed her doctoral thesis as a research fellow under the Research Staff Training Plan (1987-1991). She specialises in clinical psychology and psychotherapy, EFPA. She is accredited as a family therapist and psychotherapist by the EFPA. She works as an area specialist and clinical psychologist at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital in Santander, Cantabria Health Service (SCS), Government of Cantabria. She has been a tutor of the clinical psychology speciality, PIR (Internal Resident Psychology) at this same hospital (2013-19). She has been a member of the Cantabria (teaching) group of the SEMFyC's "Communication and Health" programme from 1998 to present and coordinator (2011-2013). She is also a member of the Spanish Association for Research and Development of Family Therapy, of which she was president from 2013 to 2015. She worked as a Lecturer at the Biscay Psychological Association from 1999 to 2018. She has been a collaborating associate professor (PhD) at Comillas University - ICADE since 2017; a visiting professor at Deusto University, 2016, and at the University of Navarra, 2019, to date. She has been an external consultant at the San Prudencio Vitoria Gasteiz Foundation for the PsicoLan project since October 2020.
