José Castro Calvín is PhD in English and German Philology and Professor of English Language at the School of Business Studies at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). He has extensive experience in teaching postgraduate programmes at several universities (UPV-EHU, University of Alicante, University of Deusto from 1996 until now), and particularly the Master’s in Tax Consultancy at the University of Deusto (2001-to present) and the Master’s in International Taxation of the Higher Institute of Economy and Law in Madrid ((2013 and 2014). He takes part in the training programmes of the Biscay and Burgos Bar Association, Basque Economist Association, Chambers of Commerce of Bilbao and Gipuzkoa, and prestigious law firms like Garrigues (6 years), Barrilero y Asociados (3 years), and many companies (Iberdrola, Siemens, Ormazabal Velatia, Moore & Stephens, SBAL Impuestos S.A, Consulmar, CIALT). He is also author of the “Diccionario de Impuestos y Aduanas” (English-Spanish, Spanish-English) published by Ariel (Grupo Planeta) 2009.
