BA in Law (1981-86), University of Seville. His undergraduate final year project was awarded a ‘cum laudem’ distinction. He is a court secretary on extended leave of absence. He has been a Judge in Laredo and Bilbao since 1991 and he is currently a Judge of the Provincial Court of Alava. He specialises in Commercial and Civil law at the Basque Autonomous Community. He is a lecturer on the Master’s in Insolvency Law and on the Practicum at the University of Deusto. He is a member of the Governing Council of the International Institute of Legal Sociology in Oñati.
