BA in Law, University of Deusto, and a member of the Biscay Bar Association; Master's degree (L.L.M.) in Maritime Law, University of Deusto / School of Maritime Administration of the Basque Government. He is Director of SAN SIMON & DUCH office in Bilbao: he has experience in a wide variety of shipping and transport matters. He frequently advises shipowners, P&I Clubs, insurance companies and freight forwarders, among others. He is a frequent speaker on transport law issues at seminars and conferences both in Spain and abroad. He is a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), a National Representative of the Transport Law Committee and a member of the Italian Association of Maritime Law.
