Lecturer in various postgraduate courses in the areas of Ethics and Human Rights, applied to business management and also to the field of Humanitarian Action interventions, among others at the University of Deusto and the UNED. He has more than 25 years of experience in Business and Human Rights (E&DH), Sustainable Development, Right of Access to Information, Anti-corruption, Inequality and Fiscal Responsibility, among other areas. He participates as a research expert in international discussions, working papers and public policies, in the European Union and in Latin America. He has previously held senior positions in private, national and multinational companies (Thorn-EMI, PROMAX, AENOR and Nortelnetworks). Carlos is currently a member of the Ethics Committee of the Ethical Investment Fund SGR (Italy). He collaborates with various civil society initiatives (Board of Directors of Access Info Europe - AIE), President of the Association of Professionals for the Quality of Development Cooperation (ACADE), member of the Oxfam-Intermon & LSE Innequality Framework Expert Group, among others). He has been a volunteer for years in the Business and Human Rights team of Amnesty International, was a member of the Commission for the Monitoring of the Code of Conduct of the Spanish Development NGO Coordinator (CONGDE) and of the Control Committee of the Fair Trade Seal in Spain, among other organisations.
