Oscar Monje has lectured in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Deusto at its Bilbao and San Sebastian campuses since 1994, where he teaches "Special Patrimonial Law", "Basque Civil and Regional Law" and "Family and Inheritance Law". He has been a member of the Biscay Bar Association since 1993 and a Founding Member of the Lure Licet Abogados law office. He has an extensive experience as a researcher, and has published a large number of papers, articles s in collective works and legal monographs. He has also supervised PhD theses, and is a regular guest speaker on civil and commercial issues at congresses, conferences and seminars. He has also been a lecturer in several Master’s and postgraduate courses run by the University of Deusto, ICADE, ESADE, University of the Basque Country, University of Almería, Universitat de les Illes Balears, Instituto de Práctica Empresarial, y el Centro de Estudios, Cantabria Regional Government, among other institutions.He is also a Law Faculty board member at the University of Deusto and Co-chairman of the legal journal "Derecho, Empresa y Sociedad”.
