.Aitziber Emaldi Cirión holds a BA in Law from the University of Deusto. She is lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at both the Bilbao and the Donostia campuses.She teaches BA courses in Law and in the Double Degree on Business Administration Law. She also teaches MA courses on Legal Science Research. Specifically, she teaches BA level Theory of the State and Constitutional Framework, System of Sources and Constitutional Rights (in Spanish) and Biomedicine and Law (both in Spanish and in English). She also teaches MA level Constitutional Law.Her publications, from an ethical and legal standpoint, mainly focus on Protection of Constitutional Rights, Bioethics, Biomedicine, Genetics, Biotechnology, Data Protection, Insurances, and Advance Directives. In the last few years she has been working on research projects, both national and international, in the aforementioned areas.Aitziber Emaldi Cirión is part of the Inter-University Chair in Law and the Human Genome research team, which has been recognized as High Performance team.
