Leila Govillard Garmendia holds a BA in Psychology and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Basque Country. She is currently teacher at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Donostia campus, there forms a part of the Committee of the Plan The Director of Health of the University, and is a sanitary psychologist of Deusto-Psych .She teaches BA courses on Communication and Social Work. Specifically, she teaches the subject of Social Work, Methods and technologies of investigation, that is from Bachelor’s level and she is tutor of students that are doing their Final Work of their Social Work Degree. Her publications mainly focus on psychological evaluation, instruments design and evaluation of intervention programmes. During the past few years she has carried out research on Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue association.She is part of the Deusto University of Deusto-Psych research team. Other research interests include chronic disease, environment and psicosocial intervention.
