Global Humanitarian Access Advisor (Médicos sin Fronteras)
Political scientist with a specialty in International Relations from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and Lunds Universitet (Sweden) and NOHA Master’s Degree in International Humanitarian Action (Deusto/Uppsala). He began his humanitarian career doing international volunteering and collaborating with NGOs in Palestine. After completing his studies, he worked with UN WOMEN in Jerusalem and later with the IFRC in Humanitarian Diplomacy at its regional headquarters in Panama. Since 2014, he has held different positions of responsibility in MSF in contexts such as Ethiopia, South Sudan, Yemen, Syria or the Central African Republic. He currently works as a Global Humanitarian Access Advisor with MSF, supporting teams in countries such as Myanmar, Haiti, Venezuela or Nigeria in negotiations with governments, armed actor and populations to gain access to populations in most need.
