ana.macarulla@deusto.esAna Mª MACARULLA ARENAZA holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, and a PhD in Industrial Engineering, both from the University of Navarra. She is currently a lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Bilbao campus. In undergraduate courses she teaches the subjects: Electrical Machines, Modelling of Dynamic Systems and Control Engineering, and in the Master's Degree in Automation, Electronics and Control she teaches Advanced and Multivariable Control. He has published specific teaching materials for various subjects and some articles in teaching innovation conferences. He has also published papers in Automation conferences and articles in journals related to waste management and energy recovery, photovoltaic solar energy generation and advanced machine tool control. He is currently working mainly in the area of integration of renewable energies in power grids and microgrid management.
