Miguel Angel Larrinaga holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration and a PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto, and also an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain from the University of Cranfield, UK. He is Senior Lecturer at the University of Deusto, where he teaches at the Bilbao campus in both BA subjects in Business Administration and Management and on combined syllabuses with BA in Law and BA in Industrial Technology Engineering. He teaches Mathematics (1st year) and Business Models (4th year) and, in English, the subjects Operations Management (2nd year) and International Project Management and Logistics (4th year). His publications range from optimization model applications to investment portfolio models for companies from the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country (CAPV). He forms part of the Finance research group at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Other areas of interest include workers’ participation in business, gender identity and its influence on the way of managing companies, and new technologies
