He is a forensic psychologist specialising in victimology. Since 1992, he has worked in several associations for the protection of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and child-to-parent violence, conducting evaluations and treatments. He is a psychologist of the Family Mediation Service of the Basque Government, run by the Bateratu Association, and works on issues related to couple and intergenerational conflicts. He is a lecturer on Master’s degree programmes related to gender violence, minors in situations of vulnerability, mental health and psychological therapies, mediation, legal psychology and victimology. He also takes part in specialist conferences at several universities, professional bodies, institutions and third sector.
