Fernando Cortés is a Mechanical Engineer from l'École Centrale de Nantes and PhD Doctor from Mondragon Unibertsitatea. He is currently Associate Professor at the University of Deusto, where he teaches at the campus of Bilbao. He is the director of the Master in Industrial Engineering. Fernando Cortés teaches BA and MS courses on Applied Mechanics, as Strength of Materials, Applied Mechanics, and Thermal Engineering. His research mainly focuses on Computational Mechanics applied to Structural Dynamics and Materials Modelling. He is part of the Applied Mechanics research team.
