Mikel Emaldi obtained his PhD in Computer Engineering in 2015 at the University ofDeusto on the topic of big Linked Data and Big Data graph analysis. He has led the design and development of the Broad Data Stack tool within the H2020 WeLive project. Currently, he works in the EDI - European Data Incubator H2020 project, as deployer and maintainer of a Big Data cluster. He has worked on other research projects such as ISMED (Intelligent Semantic Middleware for Embedded Devices) or ADAPTA. His expertise comprises areas like Semantic Web, Big Data, Cloud Computing and container orchestration within distributed environments.
