The Santander 360º Excellence Grants Programme aims to reward university talent by recognising academic merit and active participation in university life for students enrolled in a degree programme at participating Spanish universities.
A maximum of 77 grants of €12,000 each (one per university) will be awarded in recognition of academic excellence and comprehensive educationduring the academic year in which the student is enrolled at the time the grants are awarded.
Eligibility requirements
- Undergraduate students enrolled in a degree programme at a Spanish university participating in the Programme.
- Outstanding academic record.
- They should have participated significantly in the university life of the Institution.
The University may take into account significant social, cultural or sporting contributions and/or participation in programmes such as:
- Internships in companies ( based on the number of internship hours completed in companies).
- Development of professional and/or entrepreneurial skills (depending on the number of hours devoted to further training).
- International scope of the curriculum vitae (language skills and participation in exchange programmes are also considered).
- Social involvement and concern, collaboration with NGOs, student advisory tutor or student delegate.
Additionally, the Universities may take into account other criteria of personal improvement derived from adverse situations or related to accredited disability of more than 33% or duly accredited special educational needs.
To be eligible for the grants, candidates must be registered in the Programme through the Platform, preferably with their University’s email address. Notification of the award of the grant will be made through the management system available to the Universities on the Platform.
Registration deadline
Student enrolment must take place between 1 February 2025 and 15 May 2025.
The deadline for the allocation of the grants by the Universities is 15 June 2025. Such allocation will be communicated to the Beneficiaries, who will have 7 calendar days to submit their acceptance, all through the Platform.
