Purpose and beneficiaries
The Occident Foundation, of the GCO, offers these grants which are open to bachelor’s and double bachelor’s degree students at Deusto Business School.
These grants are part of the Deusto Grants Fund, an aid programme that aims to offer higher education studies to students who do not have the necessary financial resources to pursue undergraduate studies. This initiative promotes education, solidarity and inclusion.
Requirements and Application
These scholarships have the same academic and financial requirements as the Deusto Undergraduate Grants. Students who demonstrate the highest academic excellence and intend to study a bachelor's or double bachelor's degree at Deusto Business School may be eligible for the Occident Foundation grants.
Applications can also be made through the Deusto Undergraduate Grants within the same deadlines and by filling in the application form.
Grant award
Those applicants for the Deusto grants who are finally awarded the Occident Foundation grants will receive a percentage discount on the cost of new subjects. The grants will be 70% of the total amount, which will be calculated and exclusively deducted from the monthly tuition fees. They do not apply to enrolment and recognition fees.
The grant will be renewed annually until the completion of the studies, provided that the recipient student maintains the economic and academic conditions leading to its granting for the first year of the Bachelor's or Double Bachelor’s Degree.
