    The PhD programme in Education is supported by an academic staff that develops two research areas:

    • A1 Teaching and learning processes for the success and development of all individuals. Research teams eDucaR and ERLA.

    • A2 psycho-educational intervention in social contexts. Research team Intervention: quality of life and social inclusion

    Research training activities

    PhD programmes featurecross-cutting research training activities as well as specific activitiesfor each degree. These activities aim to provide excellent training to new researchers and to develop the best possible research skills.

    Research training activities include:courses, conferences, seminars, attendance at congresses, publication of articles and student mobility periods.

    The aim is to create a space for intellectual encounterswhere researchers can develop their training in an appropriate context.

    Furthermore, these activities are scheduled to ensure that students gain international experience by:

    • Studying at universities or research centres abroad.
    • Writing aninternational thesisand participating ininternational conferences
    • Having visiting lecturers to talk in the training activities

    These activities are held throughout the training period.
