Criteria for assessment and weighting of merits

Candidates’ suitability and merits will be evaluated as follows:

Qualifications and academic records (undergraduate) Grade point average + Match with the programme's focus area 15%-10% Transcript
Qualifications and academic record (Máster,s or equivalent) Grade point average + Match with the programme's focus area 15%-20% Transcript
Match between the candidate's research aims and the programme's focus areas Assesment by the academic committee 15% Research proposal and assessment by the principal researcher of a team
Command of English - Proof of certification and/or English as native language or as laguage of Graduate studies 5% Certificates providing proof of foreign language level for assessment. In case of not having them, or not having submitted them, Those candidates who pass the first selection stage may be called to interview.

Grant recipients Award, duration and amount of the grant 5%-10% Proof of award of the grant
Adequate command of Spanish (For non-  Spanish speaking foreign candidates) Proof  of certification of Spanish/or Spanish as native language or as language of Garduate Studies 5%

Non-Spanish speaking foreign candidates must also provide proof of having a good knowledge of Spanish language equivalent to B2 level of the CEFR by submitting either a valid certificate or by an interview.
