This group was created in 1981 by seven fourth-year students, following Yale's 'a capella' tradition, who were interested in promoting equality for women. Each concert season, fourteen final year students at this American university, are selected at the end of their third year of degree for their special vocal skills to continue the Whim'n Rhythm tradition. All of them are full-time students, and they improve their musical skills during their free time.
