This year's Master’s degree programme in European and International Business Management is drawing to close, as well as the subject "Organisational Design”. For nearly two months, we have studied theory and concepts and had real-life experiences with businesses in our area. On Wednesday, the 22nd, we visited Tubacex S.A., marking the end of this stage of our studies.
Tubacex is over 50 years old and is a shining example of a company that has known how to adapt to the environment and reinvent itself, investing in its own technology and innovation. During our visit, we gained insight into the market that the firm operates on, its competitive position, strategy and structure, the latter of which has had to keep pace with international growth. And thanks to our hosts, Guillermo, Germán and Raquel, we also saw the human quality of the people who form the company. Besides listening and asking questions, we had a tour of TTI, one of the plants where unwelded seamless steel pipes are made.
