On October 30, Deusto hosted the NTT Data initiative, which offered students the opportunity to go up in a hot air balloon at the University itself. This initiative was part of the Engineering and Technology Week Forotech 2024 and took place on this date after having been postponed on October 17 due to adverse weather conditions. For two hours, the balloon rose to a height of between 10-20 meters above the campus. NTT Data is a partner company of the College of Engineering and specifically Forotech 2024.
