The Master Degree in Intervention in cases of Violence against Women of the University of Deusto is since 2003 a pioneering and unique reference in offering specific training in the area of intervention in cases violence against women in response to a great social demand in the matter. In this sense, it trains students following an interdisciplinary approach so that they acquire the necessary skills to design, plan, manage, execute and evaluate interventions from a holistic perspective. It has generated an important number of applied research materials and theoretical reflection in the subject via master's dissertations.

With this award, the Jury also wants to extend the recognition to all the people who in one way or another have participated or participate in both master's degrees, especially the students for having decided to enroll in this training to become relevant qualified change agents, aware and professionalised in their respective areas of influence.
