Michael Spence, Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics, visits Deusto Business School

Michael Spence visited Deusto Business School in Bilbao on 25 May, prior to taking part in a lunch to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Fineco He was accompanied by Deusto Business School Dean, Guillermo Dorronsoro; Luc Theis , Director General of Deusto Business School ; Enrique Sáez , Vice-President of GIIC Fineco ; Director of Deusto Business Alumni, Jose San Blás and faculty lecturers Susana Rodríguez Vidarte, Itziar Mendia, Fernando Gómez Bezares and Mikel Larreina during his visit to La Comercial. He also visited the Board Room of the Aguirre Biscay Foundation and signed its Book of Honour. Michael Spence, Canadian economist and professor, was awarded the 2001 Nobel in Economics, jointly with George Akerlof and Joseph E. Stiglitz for their analyses of markets with asymmetric information.
