The University of Deusto and the business sector join to train experts in sales management

Last 7 September, the University of Deusto signed a collaboration agreement with the main companies in the field of sales management to put in motion an MA in Sales Management. This Master's Degree will start at this academic institution in October. Along with the Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Continuing Education at Deusto, Miguel Angel Escotet, this event was attended by the heads of some of the collaborating companies, such as EITB, Vasías and Bridgestone.

The aim of this new postgraduate programme is to meet the demand for specialised managers in the different sales departments in companies. Hence, the number of companies interested in collaborating with this programme. In this sense, this MA offers the advantage of paid work placements, which can help those interested to pay for their course.

This MA is aimed at holders of a Bachelor's degree or a diploma in all fields, since there is a demand for corporate sales in all spheres: hospitals, production companies, teaching centres, communication companies, public administration, etc. This degree is delivered in two parts: one general, aimed at improving the basic management skills and knowledge, and a specific one, focused on the knowledge and practice of the various current sales challenges: negotiating, internationalism, suppliers, etc. If applicants have had other training and good sales management experience, they can also obtain just the specialist certificate.
