The Association Women In The Legal World presents in Deusto a work on the protection of children in digital environments

The Association for the professional promotion of female talent in the legal sector Women in the Legal World (WLW) will present in Deusto on March 6 the book “La protección de la infancia en entornos digitales”, a work that addresses the dialogue between technology and childhood with the aim of protecting the fundamental rights of minors in the digital society.

Within this framework, which will be presented by Gema Tomás, Professor of Civil Law at the University of Deusto; and Gabriela Bergareche Rodríguez, Director of Corporate Taxation at PwC Tax & Legal, and Director of WLW, Basque Country, a round table has been organized to take place at 3:30 pm, in the Barandiarán Room. 

Participants will include Ana Isabel Herrán, Professor of Civil Law at the University of Deusto; Arantza López, Deputy Prosecutor for Computer Crimes in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country; and Rodrigo Oráa, psychiatrist and Head of the Addictions Health Service in the Mental Health Network of Bizkaia of Osakidetza.
