Engineering and Education students from the University of Deusto will give a workshop in Barakaldo for 30 people over 65 years old to become familiar with AI tools. This training has been included in the bank of good practices of the Basque Innovation Agency, Innobasque, because “it is not only an innovative initiative in its understanding of active aging, but for being a pioneer in its way of articulating the training to promote intergenerational relationship”.
The course, which starts this February, aims to help participants acquire basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and learn how to handle tools for generating text, images, voice, music and videos. The sessions will also help develop critical thinking about the impact of AI and encourage personal creativity.
