I WANT TO CHANGE MY COURSE AND ENROL AT ANOTHER UNIVERSITY. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you have started but have not finished your official studies (Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree) at the University of Deusto and you want to enrol in an official programme of the same cycle at another Spanish university, you must apply for the transfer of your academic transcript at the UD.
If you wish to obtain the academic certification of the official program for which you are requesting a transcript transfer, you must do so before requesting the transfer. Once this request has been made, the University of Deusto will not be able to issue the personal academic certificate.
If you are leaving your studies at the University of Deusto and wish to enrol in another official degree programme of the same cycle at another university, you must submit proof of your application for an Official Academic Certificate or Transfer of your academic record.
With this transfer, the responsibility for attesting the programme of study you are withdrawing from is transferred to another university, as the credits earned must be included as transfer of credits in the official documents of the new programme of study.
Official Academic Certification is issued and sent from the University of Deusto to another University.
In order to apply for a transfer to another Spanish university, you must have obtained the Letter of Admission from the host university. You must fill in the application form, sign it and submit it together with proof of payment of the corresponding fees and the required supporting documents, as detailed on the back of the application form.
You can apply by post or in person at the General Secretariat of the University of Deusto.
New students who cancel their enrollment before it has taken academic effect (no grades are recorded on their transcript) do not need to request a transcript transfer but rather an enrollment cancellation.

I WANT TO COMBINE MY STUDIES AT ANOTHER UNIVERSITY. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you are enrolled in an official degree programme (Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree) at the University of Deusto and you want to simultaneously study the same cycle at another Spanish university, you must apply for the transfer of your transcript at the UD, specifying that the aim is to combine studies.
You must submit the receipt of your transcript transfer request if you are still enrolled in official studies at the University of Deusto and wish to simultaneously enrol in an official programme of the same cycle at another university.
In this case, the responsibility for certification is not transferred and no transfers are made, as the first studies were initiated, but not "not completed", as they are being continued.
A Personal Academic Certificate is issued and sent to another University from the University of Deusto.
This is the exception where two official university academic records of the same cycle are active.
