Breve descripción de los objetivos de investigación
La investigación de Applied Mechanics se enfoca en el análisis del comportamiento mecánico de sistemas estructurales y materiales, así como en la mejora de los procesos de producción. Su labor está orientada a sectores clave como la automoción, bienes de equipo y productos de consumo, con el objetivo de impulsar una industria más eficiente, innovadora y sostenible, aportando soluciones innovadoras en la frontera del conocimiento:
- Nuevas tecnologías para el conformado metálico.
- Tecnologías aditivas.
- Soluciones predictivas.
- Caracterización experimental y numérica (CFD-DEM-FEA) de polvos, erosión y sistemas complejos.
