Juan Luis Manfredi Sánchez is Prince of Asturias Distinguished Visiting Professor (2021-2024). He leads the Political Leadership and Public Governance Program, as well as various research activities and social debate. It has more than 150 alumni among members of the senior public management and other elected positions (Congress, Senate, Mayor's Office). Before joining Georgetown University, he has been a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, where he teaches Journalism and International Relations. He writes on public diplomacy and propaganda, international relations and diplomacy, communication, and technology, as well as political risk and the liberal order. He is the author of 16 books and more than 60 articles on these subjects.
