Pilar has worked for different organizations for the last 18 years in field and headquarter posts implementing and supporting humanitarian programmes. She has a background in anthropology and development studies. Since 2011 she has been Protection and Programme based Advocacy Adviser in Intermon Oxfam, in charge of developing organisational policy and strategy on protection and advocacy, field programming and advising programmes. Her main areas of interest are displacement and durable solutions, migration, safer livelihoods in conflict, humanitarian advocacy and quality programming. She has several publications in these areas.
